Liquor Licensing – Under the Dutiable Commodities Ordinance (Cap. 109)
In Hong Kong, any person selling or supplying beverages containing more than 1.2% alcohol by volume (such as wine, spirits, beer) must obtain a liquor licence or relevant permit under the Dutiable Commodities Ordinance (Cap. 109).
Types of licences include:
Licensed restaurant liquor licence
Wholesale / Import-Export permit
