Mr Tsukaka Hirota, Consul of Consulate General of Japan invited HKGCWS members to enjoy Japan
wine.

The China Food and Drinks Fair (“CFDF”) is the largest and oldest trading fair since 1955. CFDF has been considered as the most important branding and communication platform for wine industry in China. The HKGCWS organized our trade members to join the Fair and established a “Hong Kong Pavilion” with the theme of “Guaranteed Authenticity”. Hundreds of “HK Points 95+” wine from over 20 wine production countries were selected for the distributors and buyers in the Mainland China.

The luncheon gathered more than 30 HKGCWS trade members, who are local importers, to try 11 wines of different style from 3 Italian wineries. The Luncheon was led by Dr. Damon Yuen to provide in-depth information of both characteristics of wine and history of the wineries.

The HKGCWS was honoured to be invited by the Consulate General of the Czech Republic to join the 2nd Czech Wind & Beer Festival. 50 members joined the festival and enjoyed the wine and gourmet food from Czech.

ProWine Asia is one of the most important international wine events every two year. Exhibitors were not only introducing their products to patenting buyers but also exploring new market and business opportunities. Exhibitors could apply for the financial support from The SME Export Marketing Fund and the HKGCWS has provided seminars regarding the application process in 2018 and 2019.

FENAVIN is the most important monographic trade fair in Spain. Practically all the designations of origin of Spain were able to do business at the most important trade fair on Spanish wine. The HKGCWS has organized our trade members to explore potential opportunities in Ciudad Real.
